Aquaponics Setup:

pH test

1. Put 5ml of water in test tube

2. Add 3 drops of testing solution

3. Invert test tube a few times

4. Match color of solution with test kit sheet

High Range pH test

Same as above but add 5 drops of testing solution instead of 3

Ammonia - 0ppm

1. Put 5ml of water in test tube

2. Add 8 drops from test bottle 1

3. Add 8 drops from test bottle 2

4. Cap test tube and shake vigorously for 5 seconds

5. Wait 5 minutes

6. Match color to sheet

Nitrite - 0ppm

1. Put 5ml of water in test tube

2. Add 5 drops of testing solution

3. Cap test tube and shake for 5 seconds

4. Wait 5 minutes

5. Match color to sheet


Nitrate - 25-40ppm

1. Put 5ml of water in test tube

2. Add 10 drops from test bottle 1

3. Cap test tube and invert several times

4. Vigorously shake test bottle 2 for at least 30 seconds

5. Add 10 drops from test bottle 2 to the test tube

6. Cap test tube and shake vigorously for 1 minute

7. Wait 5 minutes

8. Match color to sheet
